Yesterday I worked on cutting out and baking up some promo cookies for First Communion, A Flower Garden and Mother’s Day, so it was a long day at the co-op kitchen. We also taste tested the sour cream batch test that I baked up last week. They are a bit dryer than the all butter cookies are, but otherwise seem to be keeping their freshness.

This morning I published: 04/15 & 4/17 Blog Posts

I was also able to update Facebook. I attached Flowers At Will to the post (first time doing that!).

I also fixed the inventory control sheet – changed orientation to horizontal and added “Brand / Item Name”.

I was planning on taking photos of all of the baskets and containers I just got, but it’s been raining steady for two days, which makes it a bit too dark for photos.  It’s bugging me a little that the baskets are all stacked up and messing up my normally (mostly) uncluttered living room, but I don’t really care about the delay because I love the rain. Coming from a place where a lot of rain is not the norm, I love the green and the wet (except when LaLa decides to go play in the mud!). The Boise foothills are so pretty – green creeping up the flanks - and there are flowers blooming everywhere, and the trees - OMG!

FACEBOOK

A few days ago I created a page for Flora’s Bake Shop with a new Flora Farmer account so I could use the NEW g-mail address (which I also updated on all the blog / site pages) to florasbakeshop@gmail.com –yayayayaya!  Started inviting folks to the new bake shop facebook site. I hope it’s not too confusing, but I figure if I stop using the old site, it’ll just fade away…

Since yesterday, the visitors on the site went from 2 to 10 and page views went up to 36, so some of the folks I just invited via the new Facebook site have taken a look (hooray!)
